what could go wrong when a washed up horror film star returns from a mental institution to make one more horror film for an evil producer? not a bad price vehicle. there is some genuine mystery and a fairly compelling story. of course, there are a couple of contrivances. (are those people living on his lawn?) and the ending didn't make any sense at all. 5.5/10
