people stuck in many cubes within a cube or one single dimension/time shifting cube. i liked the first cube when i saw it. i thought it was a clever idea executed cleverly. sure, it didn't have the highest production values but it entertained nonetheless. the problem with this one is that it's way too contrived. not only did the filmmakers feel the need to 'kick it up a notch' with time travel and other nonsense but they explain the cube at the end. what was it all along? a military experiment, of course. brilliant. 4/10
