extremely awkward guy chokes women to death until one falls in love with him. this movie is glacially paced. i actually watched it at 1.5x speed. if you have 2x speed on your machine and can still read the subtitles it might actually be worth the time. as it is, it seemed like if tarkovsky directed henry: portrait of a serial killer. (it wasn't bad, it was just intolerably slow.)
