this movie plays out backwards, just like my one-line synopsis. the rape scene and revenge scene are absolutely brutal. i wouldn't recommend this one unless you're into arthouse brutality, 10 minute shots and crazy-ass camera work.

sheitan - a group of young adults head out to the country where they are creeped out (and worse) by some hicks.
this was not bad at all. it's pretty funny at times because the guys are so narcissistic and reckless. vincent cassel was pretty awesome. overall, it's a bit amateurish but only slightly. it looks like they had a lot of fun making the movie in the 'making of'.

cry-baby - it turns out that straight-laced kids from the right side of the tracks can be assholes too when johnny depp, from the wrong side of the tracks, falls for a girl from 'normal' society.
fun. campy. kitschy. john waters.

bomb it - graffiti artists talk about how legit their 'craft' is while regular people are made out to be assholes for saying they don't like their cars/homes/businesses tagged with spraypaint.
pretentious bullshit. the movie doesn't even have good shots of the mural type 'pieces' so you could get a decent look at the only graffiti worth looking at. it focuses too much on scribbled names and talking heads. the only sections worth checking out (unless you're curious about how shepard ferry started obey) are the sao paolo brothers and the old dude in france.
