not great/not terrible. a lot of contrived dialogue and at several points events seem to advance way too quickly. rourke is good, but it's hard to sympathize with his callous, date-raping, cheating, racist, asshole character. but, i guess that's probably how oliver stone writes depth into a character.
i couldn't resist breaking with tradition (quotes as i remember them) with the title of this post.
