i just don't know what i think of tarkovsky. i've seen three of his movies and i wouldn't recommend any of them to a casual friend/acquantance. but i like them for some reason. this one was a very deliberately paced (read: slow) sci-fi(?) thriller(?) with some beautiful shots and creative compositions.
