this seemed like david lynch doing a shot-on-video/low budget, taking-itself-too-seriously caricature of a david lynch film. that's not to say it isn't good. but it certainly isn't great either. several of the scenes/shots just seem amateur. i mean, like, direct to youtube quality filmmaking. i guess i just wasn't too crazy about this because i've pretty much seen it already in lost highway and mulholland dr., where it was doned better. and some of the acting was just bad. maybe i am saying it isn't good...
