splatter - young man invents a painkiller that doesn't exactly produce the desired effects in the 3 women he doses with it. gore and self-mutilation but the title is still over the top. some good effects and gut-wrenching gags. overall, not terrible but not great. 6.5/10
451 - books are bad in the future. i watched this again with bradbury's 'this is not about censorship' statement in mind. it's really not. great movie 9/10
