film version of the core graphic novel story with a different ending. take away my fanboy card, because i genuinely enjoyed this movie. it has great action and violence and some good acting as well. it's shot in the same color palette as the book and it looks great. sure, there's some over-the-top stuff but the book had more than its share of that. 8.5/10
