headstrong girl grows to a woman in unstable iran with a stint in vienna. i remembered liking the book more than i like this movie. the girl is just so unlikable. she is not a sympathetic character at all really. she's a bratty, spoiled, upper-middle-class princess even through some very trying times. too bad, the animation is pretty amazing. 5/10
