yeah, i know. i've been slacking lately. anyway...
this was not as good as i thought it would be. granted my impressions of it were formed when i was ten and saw bits of it on hbo at my aunt's house. it was about 30 minutes worth of pretty solid action-comedy in a 120 minute package.
Maybe it was just ruined by the full-frame-only presentation. Damn you MGM Home Video!!! I used to think JAWS was mediocre until I saw it in wide-screen.
Regardless, Fred Ward is awesome. If I was making a movie about four brothers I'd cast him and Fred Willard and Charles Bronson and my dad.
If I was making a movie about two brothers I'd cast Ron Perlman and Tom Waits.
