h&h - sort of weak shaw brothers produced kung fu freakout. the show starts in heaven where bejeweled badasses get the crap kicked out of them on behalf of some lovers trying to escape the wrath of some heaven queen. in a seemingly entirely unrelated setting - earth - more crap gets kicked out. finally, crap gets kicked out in hell by more seemingly unrelated dudes.
ltz - decent cautionary tale from the 80's about 3 friends who take different paths after high school. robert downey jr. may not have had to stretch his acting abilities too far on this one. bleak movie with a what-the-hell? downer ending.
kb1 - this is tarantino's masterpiece. using all of the elements that he is known for - violence, disjointed time progression, ripping off asian movies - he crafts a perfect revenge tale with some wow-cool fight scenes and great nods to classic samurai and kung fu films.
